Youth Club

Chaceley’s Youth Club has been meeting in the Village Hall on alternate Friday evenings since 2005.  There are two sessions per evening; the first, for children between the ages of 7 and 11 runs from 6.30pm-7.15pm and the second, for those of secondary school age runs from 7.30pm – 9pm.

Activities include table tennis and snooker and there is a range of games available for all ages as well as the latest music and chat.  In the summer we have the use of a local tennis court.

Membership costs £5 and each session costs £1.50 including tuck.  Two adults are always on hand and all have been CRB checked.

The Youth Club raises funds by taking part in village fund raising events and for the last two years it has received a grant from the parish council.  The money pays for insurance, trips and workshops.  Last year the club went ten pin bowling and on an archery course and also hosted 2 workshops; one to learn circus skills and the other to learn drumming.

The club welcomes members from local villages and visitors are welcome too.
