Walking Group

Chaceley has a walking group that meets on the last Tuesday of each month in the afternoons in winter and evenings in summer. Not all the walks undertaken are local and the organiser, Marian Saxton (01452 780000), is always happy to receive suggestions for future visits.

ALDERTON AND DUMBLETON

 

A 5.5 mile walk from the Gardener’s Arms pub in Alderton, across fields to the pretty village of Dumbleton, passing Dumbleton Hall en route.  Return to Alderton Via Dumbleton Hill.

 

A walk with open views most of the way, including views of Broadway Tower, Bredon Hill and the Malverns.  Two gradual climbs on this walk, but not strenuous.  Mostly easy going.  Optional meal at the Gardener’s Arms after the walk.
